It is essential for musculoskeletal health. In addition, it helps to strenghten the immune system, boost mood, aid in weight loss, and decrease the likelihood of heart disease. To maintain serum calcium concentration, it is recommended to keep Vitamin D levels between 40-60 ng/mL. Labs are required prior to the administration of the Vitamin D.
